His leadership and vision for growth gives us focus on the task at hand, and as our Pastor, he knows the importance of responding to the direction of the Lord in any situation.

Kristen McGarity

STUDENT PASTOR

Kristen McGarity (PK) is the Church Administrator and also oversees the Impact Student Ministries. With a passion to see teenagers grow in their relationship with God and truly grasp what it means to be a Christ-follower, he is excited to bring that passion to Northport Church Of God.

Kyle McCarty

WORSHIP PASTOR

PRODUCTION & TECHNOLOGY DIRECTOR

 

Kyle McCarty directs and oversees the worship arts department at Northport. We want to invite you into a lifestyle of radical celebration and intense worship. We incorporate a diverse style into our worship experience. Using praise team, choir, band, lights, and multimedia, there is truly something for everyone. We believe extravagance is the only appropriate response to the work and person of Jesus Christ.

Melodie Golden

CHILDREN'S PASTOR

Melodie Goalen directs the children's worship service at Northport, Kid Konnection, and also manages the logistics of the Children's Department as a whole. Pastor Melodie's unique vision for ministry involves hands-on activities and inventive object lessons that help children of all ages understand the content and meaning of God's word.

FAMILY LIFE PASTORS

Steven and Keshia connect families to different avenues of service through out the church.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

 

Mrs. Sherry is at the office during business hours to assist

the Staff and make sure elements of business at Northport

run smoothly.

Chase & Chesley Goalen

COLLEGE AND CAREER PASTOR

 

We partner with the young adults ages 18-25 as they make the transition from high school to college or the work force. Our goal is to equip them to remain grounded in their faith and their church as they make the transition. We lead Wednesday worship services and Sunday small groups and life groups. We also connect students to other leaders within the church where they can fulfill the great commission by serving in other ministries such as Kidz Connection, Youth Small Groups, Media Ministry, Praise Team and more.
